Our straight (cut throat) razor is the best way to get a close shave. You have to be highly skilled to be able to use this blade, but the benefits outweigh this one minor detail, plus if you can perfect using this blade you can use any blade. So if you’re patient enough to get the perfect shave, this blade is for you.
This black cut throat razor is a solid blade so it will last for a long time, no need to dispose of this so long as you clean it properly after use!
The razor is shave ready but to preserve the perfect cutting edge care and maintenance is required. Each time you have used your razor rinse the blade in very hot or boiling water. Carefully and thoroughly dry the blade and leave it open in a DRY airy place before you close it.
This black cut throat razor is hand ground 5/8" deep with a carbon steel blade. Our straight (cut throat) razors are fashioned from very high quality carbon steel.
Choose from this black razor or our white razor depending on the rest of your shaving set.
